HISTORIC STUDENT LOWER FORT GARRY CRUISE
9am to 4:30pm
As a school activity this is a unique educational opportunity for students to experience the rich history of the Red River and Lower Fort Garry by sailing on a Riverboat.

Your students will follow the route of the early fur traders and Selkirk Settlers along the historic Red River.
The M.S. Paddlewheel Princess departs our dock at 9:00 a.m., sails north on the Red River. Students experience sailing through the only Locks west of the Great Lakes, the Locks at St. Andrews. Just north of the Locks they will pass the Floodway Outlet, which saved Winnipeg from the 1997 flood. The Ship docks at Lower Fort Garry for 1 to 11/2 hours stopover where students tour the Fort and view the museum. After the tour, students return on the Paddlewheel Princess to our homeport at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Pre-ordered Lunch can be arranged for the students either on the way there or on the return trip.

Note: Admission to Lower Fort Garry not included.

Group must make reservation in advance, and send in a $300.00 non-refundable deposit to our office. Fare is to be paid before departure. Children must be chaperoned by teachers. All rates subject to applicable taxes
